Freedom Requires Wings will be holding a Harvey Milk Week from May 21st-27th to honour one of the greatest gay icons of the 20th century, Harvey Milk. The week will run through Harvey Milk Day, on the 22nd May.

Our schedule is as follows:

Monday - Brit - His early life
Tuesday - Michael - His early political career
Wednesday - Patrick - His activism
Thursday - Phil - LGBT rights and history at the time
Friday - Romilly - His influence on politics and what he changed for LGBT people
Saturday - Gabrielle - His assassination and the aftermath
Sunday - Mees - Harvey Milk's legacy and what he means to people today
